"I will praise you, LORD, among the peoples. In every land, LORD, I will sing your praise." Jotham David Parker hopes to follow the Psalmist's example and bring God's praise and the breathtakingly beautiful imagery of Psalm 57 to today's peoples. Jotham renders Psalm 57's drama afresh with a new, poetic paraphrase. "Wake, My Glory!" is a unique fusion of Celtic and Scandinavian folk-style music and Neo-Plainsong chant backed by a powerful, highly textured electronic score. "Wake, My Glory!" will both please the music lover listening at home and be an edifying and inspiring addition to any church's hymnal.

Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me,
For my soul trusts in you.

In the shadow of your wings I hide my head,
Till far from me calamity has fled.
I will cry out to El Elyon
To God who works all of these things for me.

God shall send from heaven and save me.

God shall send His mercy and His truth.

My soul quakes among the lions in their den.
I lie among the wicked sons of men.
Beasts in flames whose teeth are spears and arrows.
Beasts set in flames whose tongues are sharpened swords.

They have spread a net to trip me in my pace.

I will sing and give you praise.

Wake, my glory! Wake, harp in my hands!
I'll wake the dawn to unfurl his golden bands.
I will praise you, LORD, among the nations.
